nokia-e71xNokia has long been an established named in cell phones. As we have said here before, for a long time it was practically the only quality cell phone available. With the overwhelming popularity of smart phones, Nokia is still striving — and by all accounts succeeding — to keep up with the competition.

The Nokia E71X has a lot of pros attached to it. For one thing, it is surprisingly affordable, being available in some instance for just under one hundred dollars. It has Wi Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth capability, a great 3.2 megapixel camera, and AT&T support. Its construction is extremely high quality and it comes complete with a full QWERTY keyboard.

On the downside, GPS can take a while and that stellar keyboard is just a little cramped. The best news? Unlike other Nokia smart phones, this one will actually be available to carriers in the United States.

t-mobile-g1T-Mobile is one of the most popular cell phone providers around right now — so will the T-Mobile G1 live up to all of that hype? It is one of a growing number of smart phones which will be based on the famed Google Android OS. A lot of smart phones are going that route, as this particular operating system is open source, which will give developers free reign.

But the operating system is only one aspect of this phone. Thus far, one of the only problems reviewers seem to have is with T-Mobile’s own 3G network, which is still considered to be much smaller than the 3G network provided by AT&T, one of T-Mobile’s biggest competitors.

Still, because the phone is priced at merely $179.99, it is a sure bet that a lot of people will want to try it before turning to the iPhone. Heck, at certain stores it will be going for less than one hundred and fifty dollars!

Some of its most impressive features include a touch screen, a tactile keyboard, a GPS which links right to Google Maps, and the ability to connect directly to Amazon’s MP3 store.

samgsung-exclaimJust about everyone these days either has a smart phone or desperately wants one, which is of course why mobile manufacturers are cranking them out in record amounts. So, it seems pertinent to review Samsung’s new Exclaim, a petite little phone which, according to users thus far, feels pretty good but does not quite feel great. It is rather heavy, but that could be a good thing, since it may arguably be more durable.

The phone features a numeric keypad, which also seems to cause some problems, at least for those users who want a bit more feedback from their keypads. The click here is rather hard to notice and the pad itself is quite soft. The good news is that you have the option of using a complete QWERTY keyboard as well. There, the keys are well spaced, which makes for easy typing.

This phone uses Sprint’s user interface, OneClick.

palm-treo-pro-video

Okay, let’s talk about an oldie but a goodie.  This incredible phone, the Palm Treo Pro is absolutely one of the greatest phones on the market.  While of course everyone nowadays is looking for the latest and greatest touch screen but I have to say that I, personally, still really like to have a keyboard at my fingertips!  I like to be able to feel the keys beneath my fingers and know where everything is.

However, that does not want the latest and greatest technology, but this incredible phone has it all!  It is super fast, is jam-packed with all of the latest technology and it is look fashionable and chic!

That is by far one of the most important things to me … how a phone looks.  I want my phone to look incredible, feel great and all around be one of the best phones in the world and I think that the Palm Treo Pro is a combination of all of those!
