Some gadget lovers believe that once you include a stylus into the equation of a phone or a tablet, then the hardware is flawed. And that when you use a task manager for it, the programmers might have also blown it. The Galaxy Note by Samsung carried by popular companies like AT&T comes with what people will say is a stylus and press its Home button and it will take you to a task manager. The Galaxy Note though is among the best phones Samsung has ever released. It might have an understated design lines and is really big at 5.3 inches but this smartphone gives you a ton of reasons to love it.
Hardware
It is a big phone and no one can deny that. It might not fit your pocket and a bit too difficult to handle at first but you will quickly get used to it . A few minutes or hours with the Galaxy Note and you might say it is like any other compact phone.
The 5.3 inch AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels is responsible for this honking phone. It is a really nice, one of the nicest we believe, display compared to the top brands of smart phones.
The nerve center of the phone is what is really new, a Superdragon dual coe 1.5GHz processor which is a tad faster than the first release of the Note. The phone also comes with 1GB of RAM and a storage of 16GB but you can expand this with a microSD if you need to archive more. It comes with Bluetooth and runs on several bands ranging from GSM to LTE. It also comes with an 8MP camera and an LED flash at the back while you get a 2 megapixel camera in front.
The S Pen which comes with the package is not a stylus in the real sense. It is a pointing stick using Wacom technology and you will get the hang of the gestures quite easily.
The package is a bit heavy though at 183 grams compared to its older sibling at 178 grams. The Galaxy Note needs some parking space with a dimension of 5.78×3.27×0.38 inches.
Software
The Galaxy Note runs on Android Gingerbread. The apps coming with its TouchWizd version comes quite useful when it comes to customization although some resolution settings are not handled well by certain apps. There are points where you will feel uncomfortable with the mix of small and large graphics . Then why not upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich?
Conclusion
The Samsung Galaxy Note is a big phone but it is quite manageable. Small hands can even deal with it given a few minutes of tinkering and getting to know.

The Samsung Focus Flash is an assuming smartphone. It has the 1.4GHz Snapdragon, the Mango, and its 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display but it has been struggling in the market under the shadows of the Focus S.

Hardware
The Samsung Focus Flash feels nice when you hold it given that most of its body is made of plastic with a metal back portion that completes the premium looks. It is not the thinnest but just right at 0.41 inch. The rounded trapezoidal profile makes the grip natural with just enough curve to cradle it on your palm.
On the upper portion of the metal is the 5 megapixel camera paired with an LED flash and its speaker phone. Each side of the phone has some form of button or port. The designs of the button does not allow it to travel much when pressed but they are quite sturdy and clicky.
Performance
The second gen Snapdragon coming with an Adreno 205 GPU might be a tad slow compared to other smartphones like the iPhone 4S. The Mango runs smoothly without any hiccups and the Focus Flash did well in several smartphone bechmarks.
The battery life though can be improved. You can use it heavily with texting, calling, or web browsing but also expect to charge it everyday.
Software
On the end of the software, Mango is still Mango for the Samsung Focus Flash. The mobile operating system from Microsoft still hat its sync support and notifications so you can expect Samsung and phone operators to inject some of their own apps and wares.
Verdict
The Focus Flash will not beg for attention but it is also not designed to please the hardcore gadget fanatics. This smartphone is for the less demanding phone users who simply checks emails, update their social pages, and browses the web.

While the Samsung Blue Earth was introduced first in February, people around the world have been waiting for this particular phone to be released throughout it. This month, Sweden is going to be the one that gets this particular phone. The first and only truly eco-friendly phone in my opinion and honestly … I think that it is pretty awesome.
If you are in another country and waiting for this phone – well, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal and other European and Asian countries are going to follow along. There is no real word on what the prices will be or when these particular phones will be released in what country but rest assured, they are coming!
For those of you that don’t know about Samsung’s Blue Earth, I can tell you that this phone actually has a built-in pedometer that will tell you how much CO2 emissions you have saved by walking instead of driving and you actually charge this phone via the sun!

When I think of AT&T, the first thing that I usually think of is going to be Samsung and just how many Samsung phones that they have within their market – the Samsung Solstice A887 is the newest member of the family though. It has to be said that T-Mobile is really, really out-doing themselves by coming out with the Samsung Memoir. Personally, I do not own this incredible phone, but if I did, I would never have to buy a digital camera … ever! This phone is actually a digital camera all of its own account and I freaking love that! It has an 8 MP camera on it with an incredible Xenon flash, 16x zoom and it has five different shooting modes!
Now, of course, it is a phone first and foremost, but the camera feature is absolutely awesome! This phone is fully touch screen and it can handle Bluetooth and even has a speakerphone and voice-activated dialing. You can also hook up to T-Mobile’s 3G networks and there are all sorts of widgets that you can customize your phone with!
So really, what are you waiting for again? The Samsung Memoir is waiting for you right now!
