One thing that I’ve noticed about the Nokia 5800 is that it really and truly needed an update. Now, finally, now it has had its update and it is better than ever, which is saying something because I thought that the Nokia 5800 was actually pretty damn cool. However, the latest firmware update is pretty cool.
For example, an advanced e-mail application, a better version of Ovi Maps 3.0, an easier navigation experience and a lot of bugs disappeared. You’ll be able to download the update directly from Nokia’s Software Update website starting today.
Right now though … this update is not available in the states, just in Europe and Asia, however soon, the update will be worldwide!

Let’s go ahead and talk about Nokia shall we? This is a company that I actually had a phone from wayyyyy back when I first got my very first cell phone. Now, they are still going strong and shipping – selling all over the world and to me, that is something awesome! Nokia is a brand that produces some really good phones and they are for the most part affordable, which is what many people are looking for nowadays.
Finally though, the Nokia N86 8MP is going to be released in the US market. This is a cell phone that I have been waiting for, for quite a while. The reason for it? Because it’s a fantastic slider phone! The Nokia N86 8MP features an 8MP camera with dual-LEDs flash, GPS, S60 3rd edition FP2 operating system, a 2.6-inch QVGA OLED display, US 3G up to 3.6Mbps on the downlink, and WiFi connectivity.
While the price is about $468.99, it is so worth it … that and more, because this phone is so awesome!

First it was the keyboard, now it is all about the touchscreen – in this day and age, the face of cell phones have changed drastically and the newest phone by Nokia that has been released in China is seriously taking that change to the next level. The Nokia 3208c Touchscreen is actually a very cool, very hip phone that the Chinese market has already adopted as one of their own.
This particular phone is available in graphite black or white pearl. The entry-level candy bar phone adopts a handwriting recognition with a 2.4-inch TFT QVGA touchscreen display with 260k colors, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack, an MP3 player, a 2MP shooter, and a 1,020 mAh battery, all if which is awesome for a brand new phone!
The great thing about buying this phone? It comes with a 1GB memory card in the box, so no need to buy one!

Nokia has long been an established named in cell phones. As we have said here before, for a long time it was practically the only quality cell phone available. With the overwhelming popularity of smart phones, Nokia is still striving — and by all accounts succeeding — to keep up with the competition.
The Nokia E71X has a lot of pros attached to it. For one thing, it is surprisingly affordable, being available in some instance for just under one hundred dollars. It has Wi Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth capability, a great 3.2 megapixel camera, and AT&T support. Its construction is extremely high quality and it comes complete with a full QWERTY keyboard.
On the downside, GPS can take a while and that stellar keyboard is just a little cramped. The best news? Unlike other Nokia smart phones, this one will actually be available to carriers in the United States.
